This was our final visit to The Abbey during the summer term, and our final visit of the 2022/23 school year. But what a last visit! Seeing footballs and basketballs on the roof of the new classrooms was a real sign that they are fully in use!! And seeing the newly painted sports hall for the first time really was exciting!

Over the coming weeks the court lines will be laid in the hall and the media screens, projector and specialist sports equipment will be installed. The changing rooms are now almost complete with the final stages of 2nd fix underway. The aqua wall colour looks particularly striking against the crisp white ceiling and glulam beams. 

Outside the sports hall the air source heat pump has been moved to a better location behind the building, and the ground is being prepared for the temporary car park surface. Fencing will also be put in place to secure the area.
