Mrs Foxwell and Mrs Gascoigne took the members of the after school Gardening Club to Squire’s Garden Centre in Badshot Lea for the presentation of awards for the annual Farnham in Bloom festival. In the schools’ category, The Abbey won the gold award for the Roly Poly Bird scarecrow which is now on display in the school foyer, Irisha won silver for her anti-litter poster, there was a bronze for the best school garden and very highly commended for the school’s hanging baskets. Thanks to the parents who also attended the event to see James, Roman, Layla, Scott, Kaylie & Irisha receive their certificates.
