And so it’s our final blog, after 22 visits to the site, over 28 months, taking more than 2000 pictures…it was definitely worth it!

It’s difficult to put into words how far The Abbey has come in the last 18 years. The new facilities speak for themselves, and that is entirely appropriate, as our students have always been able to speak for themselves as well. They, along with our incredible staff, now have the necessary space and freedom to grow both as individuals and as a community. The surroundings might have changed, but the ethos very much remains the same - ‘Together we can’.

Huge thanks to O&D Construction. Trevor, Michael and of course Jacques were so helpful and supportive during our visits. Thanks also to the dozens of workers on site over the last two and a half years who made each visit an exciting and rewarding experience.
