View ImagesTo commemorate the historic event of a monarch reaching 70 years on the throne, Mrs Gardiner (Assistant Head teacher) and her team organised a range of events and activities to help celebrate together and create lasting memories for the students.

- Commemorative plate decorating
- Making bunting
- A variety of crafts and themed lessons
- A whole school drone photograph in the shape of 70
- A performance by Max Fulham – entertainer
- Filling and burying Mrs Hylands’s time capsule
- Achievement medals linked to the school’s ‘Together We Can’ values
- Making their own version of The Queen’s Pudding
- A whole school street party
… and Mrs Child decorated an amazing celebration cake baked by students in her Catering classes. Mr Moore (DT) helped construct the custom-built stand, students produced the home-made cup-cakes which are adorned with jubilee flags that Mrs Child made herself!
Huge thanks to Mr Sims, Chief Pilot of the drone company http://www.simsuav.com/ who managed to get some remarkable photos in some very windy and difficult conditions. Getting everyone into position was a testament to careful logistical planning, good communication and cooperation.
